ARRUF members were invited to participate in OCTUBRE HISPANICO. “La Casa de España” (The House of Spain) and the Consulate General of Spain in Houston collaborated on a fantastic cultural program “Octubre Hispánico" (Hispanic October). On pages 8 and 9 you will see several related events that were happening in Houston. ARRUF Activities Committee chair Clarence Miller attended one event and was warmly welcomed.

October 4, Guardians of the Hispanic Legacy, geared to middle and high school students; October 11, a flamenco & jazz concert; and October 21, a documentary, Spain, the First Globalization, with English subtitles. Please look at the website above for details about these engaging events.
