Renovation of Fondren 412 was completed ahead of schedule, and the room was opened for viewing on May 3rd from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. before the Annual General Meeting.
Project Managers Bob Nguyen and LouAnn Holmes transformed the long-time classroom into a versatile multi-purpose space for meetings, videoconference sessions, mentoring of graduate students, and quiet conversations. Photos don’t do it justice: Come see for yourself.
Adjacent to Fondren’s 4th floor lounge overlooking the Academic Quad, FOndren 412 is conveniently located in the center of the campus within easy walking distance from many locations. Artwork by ARRUF members will be featured. A project, “My Favorite Books,” will fill the shelves as ARRUF members explain and discuss works that were important to their intellectual formation. Members will soon be able to reserve the room by using the Fondren Website.
